Madrasa Teacher Riyaz Murder, Accused Arrested
Kasargod: Two youth have been arrested in the Madrasa teacher Riyaz murder case.
The arrested have been identified as Ajesh alias Appu (20) and Akhilesh (25) from Kelugudde. They are alleged of being the active volunteers of RSS.
During the investigations, both have denied to have any connection with the RSS. But while checking the call details it is learnt that Ajesh is a member of the BJP. The police are also checking the messages exchanged from Ajesh and Akhilesh’s mobiles.
It is learnt that some months ago a protest rally was held in Kannur against the murder of BJP activist and Ajesh was present in the rally. Ajesh was also involved in an assault on a bike rider in Karandakkad. Ajesh was actively campaigning for the BJP during the time of elections.
Meanwhile, the BJP district president K Srikant has denied to have any contact with Ajesh or Akhilesh and said that they are not connected to the BJP or Sangh Parivar.
