Police Patrol Rescues Seriously assaulted Youth
Mangaluru: Miscreants assaulted a youth near Rahamania Masjid at Ullal here on March 26, late night.
The injured has been identified as Naushad (23), from Kodi.
According to the police, on March 26 night, when Naushad was on his way to work on his two-wheeler, two men who came on a motorbike stopped and assaulted him with a machete and fled from the spot.
The police while patrolling in the area heard Naushad’s cry for help and rushed him to a hospital in Ullal.
It is suspected that Ramith and his friend have committed the crime. It is also learnt that Ramith was recently released on bail.
Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar, DCP law and order Shantharaju, DCP crime and traffic Dr Sanjeev Patil and ACP Shruti visited the spot for further investigations.
